Conservative Black Preacher’s Solution to Black Unemployment: Send Blacks “Back to the Plantation”

Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson, who calls himself “the antidote to Jesse Jackson”, agrees with Newt Gingrich’s assertion that  low-income and minority students don’t know what it means to have work ethic and should work as janitors in their schools. “Newt was 100 percent correct,” Peterson said. “Working as a janitor would build character, more so than the handouts so many of them like.” Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson is also known for his outspoken opposition against Kwanzaa, which he calls “The Racist Holiday From Hell”, forming the Tea Party of South Central Los Angeles, boycotting the NAACP, and his disgust for President Obama. Peterson told Huffington Post’s Black Voices that “one of the things that I would do is take all black people back to the South and put them on the plantation so they would understand the ethic of working,” He believes that blacks “don’t want to hear the truth” and would rather rely on government aid and welfare. Peterson also went on to say that black women have children out of wedlock  so that “they’ll get food stamps, free houses and your rent paid”. Outrageous, offensive, and backwards, Peterson at least recognizes what people have been calling him behind his back and responds to the Uncle Tom label by saying when blacks calm down, they’ll understand and join him.  To read more about this colorful character and his organization, the Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny (BOND), go to:
