The BSU has been hard at work this summer planning to make the upcoming year productive, innovative, and most importantly fun filled! Currently the board is working on re-drafting the constitution on which the entire U will have a chance to discuss and vote in the fall. However, our chief goal is to re-vamp and broaden what it means to be a part of the Williams College Black Student Union and we’re hoping to open up and diversify the U with as many fresh, new faces as possible. We are happy to announce that this year, the BSU will be undertaking a Health related theme. Through co-sponsorship with more organizations on campus, and even some surprise Rice House events, the BSU hopes to have a more pervasive presence within the College in order to have a hand in shaping the social, and cultural health of all students in the Williams College community. We hope you are as excited about the new academic year as us, and we hope that more of you can join hands to make Williams College a healthy and welcome place for everyone! The board welcomes all suggestions, so don’t be shy if you have any ideas that you think will better the U. Contact any board member or email us at williamsbsu@gmail.com and we will be happy to work with you to make good ideas come alive!
